Mother's Day and random Fiona pics

We spent Mother's day down in Portland visiting with Matt's side of the family for our monthly dinner on Saturday night, and then with my parents at Gustav's for brunch on Sunday.  Sorry, not much for writing tonight but wanted to get some pics up...hope everyone has had a good week!

MEXICO...warning, lots of pictures

I realize as I start to type that it would have made it so much easier if I had just sucked it up and brought my computer to Mexico and wrote and posted a little each day....but, I didn't and I already had enough stuff to keep track of going through the airport traveling internationally with an infant!

First trip to Mexico with the munchkin...Matt, Fi and I joined Bethany, Jacob and Granton (Fi's cousin who is 13 days younger) on a trip down to Mazatlan to visit Amma (Matt's mom who lives on a sail boat).  This was a trip that was planned back in July before the babies were born.  It ended up being a great age to travel with them, still not mobile enough to be jumping out of our laps and kicking the seat infront of us but old enough to interact with.  We all flew out of Seattle and had a stop off in L.A. before re-boarding the same plane and flying to Mazatlan.  I have flow with Fiona once before but that was when she was 12 weeks old and on a 1 hour flight so I really didn't know what to expect from her on 2, 2 1/2 hour flights.  She did awesome!  We even had many of the people traveling around us comment on how good she was. :)

As we pulled up to the resort, Amma was sitting on a bench waiting :)  (she wasn't anxious to see her grandkids or anything!)  The condo that we had was great.  It was on the ground floor which made it very easy to access the courtyard (where all the activities and pool were) and we didn't have to go up and down stairs with the babes....very handy.  The activities that they offered were great too.  They had a 3 hole putting green, ping-pong, bocce ball, darts, BBQ pit, pottery painting, and of course the pool.  Fiona loved it all...she loves being outside with all the activities and people.  We spent a lot of time hanging out on the lounge chairs and splashing around in the pool.  The rest of the time I think we spent eating! :)  We joked that we should have recorded all the food we went through!

I think I will just get to the photos.....there are lots
