Happy Half Birthday Fiona!

The munchkin is 6 months old today!  And for her "party" she got to go visit Dr. M for her check up and shots :).  As we all would expect she is a tall little munchkin at 28 3/4 inches....way off the charts and 15 1/2 lbs...right in the middle at 50% so we don't have a Laila Ali on our hands, more like a Lisa Leslie :)

Happy Easter!!!  I realized I haven't done any posed photos of Fiona lately....so I had a few minutes of "happy" baby this afternoon and tried to take advantage of it!   The first couple are of just hanging out this afternoon before my parents came up for dinner.  I definitely need some props and some different poses but since she can't sit up yet by herself.....here you go :)

5 month old Fiona and her Cousin Granton

Went down to Portland this weekend to have dinner with the family. We stayed with Bethany and Jacob...and of course Mr. Granton. I can't believe how much he has changed! It was a lot of fun getting the two cousins together, especially now that they seem to realize the other one is there. The last time they were together was at the end of December when Fiona was 8 weeks old and today she just turned 5 months today! Just have a few quick photos of the two munchkins and a video....

Sleep and a few pictures

So it has been over a week now that Fiona has slept in her room in the pak n play (we are in the process of looking for a crib). Until recently, she has slept in our room but the time finally came to move her on out. Things have been going pretty well...but I have a theory; They will nap well, they will go to bed easily and they will sleep well during the night. You can have one of the three and if you are really lucky two of the three or you can really strike out and get none :( (for those of you that get all three...impossible!! :) Most days we get one of the three....today was not a good nap day but a very easy going to sleep day....just praying that we will get lucky and get the 2/3 sleep well at night tonight :) This process has also taught me that kids have their way of telling you when they are ready for things. I think Fiona is in that process with being swaddled...we have some days that she needs it then other that she sleeps so much better with an arm out.

Anyways, spent the weekend trying to clean up around the house so here are a few pics that hadn't made the blog yet.....

Happy St. Paddy's Day and i-Phone pics

So a very Happy St. Patricks day...hope you all remembered your green! This is a interesting picture blog today...my i-phone ran out of space so I am forced to download them onto the computer so I can delete them off my phone. As I was going through the pics, I was reminded how much the little munchkin has changed over the past 4 months (I think a lot of it has to do with the loss of most of her hair) and decided to post some of the "random" shots I have of her from my phone.

These first couple of pictures are from this past weekend and today from a different little camera that I try to keep in my diaper bag.
