My friend Tami and her two girls, Zoey and McKayla, came up to Seattle this past week to see me....well, actually I think it was to see Fiona but I'm getting pretty used to that :) I am going to post this in two parts since we had so much fun both days and took lots of pictures. So Day 1 was a trip to the Woodland Park Zoo. It was perfect weather, not too hot or cold, although it took us so long to get around to everything (since the zoo is so big) some of the animals had gone to bed before we got to them. Fiona enjoyed being outside but wasn't the happiest of munchkins this trip. She was getting over a virus (we think Roseola) that caused her to have a fever last weekend and sleep like crap and be really irritable in general. She was better by Monday but decided to work on getting her top front teeth in so the irritability continued (today, Saturday has been the first day she has been back to her happy self). Anyways, here are some photos of the zoo!
Have to start with the animals!!
Wild Dog, loved the color of his fur!
Wild Snow Leopards! :)

look at that budda belly!
Zoey playing the African drums
Kayla trying to feed Fiona
Someone was tired....she wouldn't take a nap all afternoon, too much to look at! (check out the pink Converses)
....coming soon, Part 2: Forks and the Olympic Peninsula
