Alright, the craziness of Christmas is over and Fiona's photobook is done so I can finally get back to my normal photo editing (maybe not editing, just going through them!) and taking and post some pics! At the beginning of December Fiona went on her 4th plane trip and we flew to Bend to visit the Noslers and Gilsdorfs (and you too Sheri :) ). It was Chase's 1st birthday so it worked out to fly in, spend a couple of days with the girls and their kiddos and stick around for the party that Saturday. We had an easy flight, munchkin is pretty used to the routine, although she is much more active than she was at 11 weeks or 5 months or 8 months, but I brought my bag of snacks and toys and the hour "flew" by. And can I just tell you how nice it is to travel when all the little things you need are already there?! (like a pak n play, high chair, car seat, strollers...) so nice to travel light! It was so great to see Susie and Cambria, we are able to catch right up and chat like we talk everyday... I love them! We also got to visit little man Brock who was born in June and I finally got to see him. Fiona also started walking on this trip (of course when we are away from Dad!). She had taken a few steps here and there but really started to cruise around while we were in Bend. Maybe it was because of the carpet and she was willing to risk a little more with a cushioned floor. Crawling is still her preferred mode of transportation but each day she is getting steadier.
